Suit up

One of the major parts of the motorcycle experience is your outfit in my opinion. Good clothing is very important to feel comfortable on a bike. It just have to fit right and give you peace of mind that you are relatively save. I'm in the fortunate position that I've acquired what most people consider to be some of the best gear available.

Now I didn't get it right the first time. My first set of boots were just a fraction too small. It was the most annoying thing... all the vibrations of the bike went straight through my toes and I could barely walk when stepping of.

Luckily I got my helmet right first time around. A friend recommended the Arai helmets which I found rather expensive. But I'm very glad I purchased one (at a discount). The fitment is excellent and wind noise is kept to a minimum. Also they are considered to be very save, which I only can take Arai's word for it.

Most recent purchase were the winter gloves and Dainese leathers.

With recent outside temperatures this has been a wise decision. I would have frozen my *** off in my E-squad jeans and summer jacket.

Now I must emphasize that I'm in no way affiliated with any of the above mentioned companies. But if your budget can stretch a little bit more expensive gear, please don't cut corners on this stuff. Be save.
